Terms of Service
Last updated 25 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and MelonTech AI, which operates Imprint Travel. Using the app means accepting them. They are written to be read — where something matters, it is said plainly rather than buried.
1. What Imprint Travel is
Imprint Travel plans trips and keeps a record of them. It files bookings you forward or upload, builds day-by-day itineraries, tracks flights, lets you share a trip with other people, and publishes travel notes for anyone to read. It is available on iOS, Android and the web, and your account is the same account on all three.
It is a planning and record-keeping tool, not a travel agent. We do not sell flights, rooms, tickets or insurance, we are not a party to any booking you make, and we cannot change, cancel or refund one. Your contract for a trip is with the airline, hotel or operator you bought it from.
2. Your account
- You sign in with Google, Microsoft, or an email address and password, through Firebase Authentication. Keep those credentials to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- You must be at least 13, or 16 where the law where you live sets that floor, and old enough to enter a contract. If you are under 18, an adult responsible for you should read this with you.
- One account is one person. Sharing a login rather than sharing a trip breaks the per-account limits and mixes two people’s bookings into one Passport.
- You can close your account at any time. Ask at support@imprint-travel.com and we will delete it — see the Privacy Policy for what that removes.
3. What you put in
Your trips, notes, posts, messages and photographs stay yours. We do not claim ownership of any of it and we do not sell it.
To run the product we need your permission to handle it: you grant MelonTech AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize and display your content on the surfaces you chose to put it on — a published post to its readers, a shared trip to the people on that trip, a message to its thread. The licence exists so the software can show your picture to the people you showed it to, and it lasts as long as you keep it there.
Pictures carry their own rules, and they are the ones people get wrong: Pictures & content standards is part of these terms, and you accept it before your first upload.
4. What you must not do
- Post anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, deceptive, or anything you have no right to post — the full list is in the content standards.
- Claim an email address that is not yours in order to route somebody else’s bookings into your account. Every address is confirmed by a link sent to it, and attempting this is grounds for closing the account.
- Scrape, bulk-download or resell the published feed, or hammer the API beyond ordinary use of the app.
- Attempt to reach another user’s trips, notes, messages or bookings, or to work around a plan limit, a rate limit or a paywall.
- Use the service to harass a person, impersonate anyone, or advertise without saying so.
6. Forwarded and uploaded bookings
You can forward a confirmation email to trips@imprint-travel.com, or upload a PDF or a photograph of one, and the app reads it and files it. Two conditions on that:
- Forward only your own bookings, or ones you were given. Mail is attributed to an account only from an address that account has confirmed; anything we cannot attribute is discarded before it is read.
- The reading is done by a machine and it is sometimes wrong. Dates, times, airports, room types and confirmation numbers are extracted by a language model. Check an imported booking against the original before you rely on it. The original confirmation from the airline or hotel is always the authority, never our copy of it.
7. Flight information — read this one
Flight schedules, gates, terminals, delays, positions and arrival times come from third parties, are frequently provisional, and can be late, missing or simply wrong. Airlines change gates minutes before boarding and do not always tell anyone in time.
Never rely on Imprint Travel alone to catch a flight, make a connection or find a gate. The airline’s own board, app and staff are the authority. Our connection ratings are a rule of thumb, not a guarantee that a connection is achievable. We are not liable for a missed flight, a missed connection, or any other loss arising from flight information shown in the app.
Notifications are best-effort. They depend on a provider telling us, on your device being reachable, and on the operating system delivering them — and any of the three can fail silently. A notification you did not receive is not evidence that nothing happened.
8. Imprint Pro and billing
The free plan keeps the Passport, Explore, chats, manual entry and access to any trip somebody shares with you, permanently. Imprint Pro — $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year — adds live flight tracking and landing alerts, unlimited imports and forwarding addresses, unlimited trips and collaborators, and 30 GB of storage. A 100 GB storage add-on is $2.99 a month or $23.99 a year.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, at the price and interval you bought. Prices are in US dollars unless the store you bought through shows otherwise, and tax may be added.
- Cancel where you bought it — in the app on the web, or in your Apple or Google account for a purchase made on a phone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the paid period ends.
- Refunds for a purchase made through Apple or Google are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules; we cannot issue them. For a purchase made on the web, write to us and we will deal with it fairly, and we will always refund where the law requires it.
- Going over a storage limit never deletes anything. You keep every byte already uploaded and simply cannot add more until you free space or add capacity. An allowance already sold to you is never reduced.
- We may change prices. An existing subscription keeps its price until it renews, and we will tell you before a renewal at a new one.
9. Availability and changes
We do our best to keep the service up but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features change: we add them, and occasionally remove ones that are not working. Where a change materially reduces something you have paid for, we will tell you and you may cancel.
The service depends on third parties — flight data providers, mapping and place data, email delivery, push notification services and cloud infrastructure. An outage at one of them is an outage in the part of the app that uses it.
10. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the content standards, that puts other users at risk, or that is being used to attack the service. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn first and explain. Serious cases — content sexualising a minor, a credible threat to a person — are closed immediately and reported to the authorities where the law requires it.
You may close your account at any time, for any reason, and take your content with you.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the information in the app is accurate, complete or current.
To the fullest extent the law allows, MelonTech AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data, missed travel or wasted expenditure. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer protection law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, you keep every right that law gives you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always says when. For a change that materially affects your rights we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new version. If you do not accept it, close your account.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the place in which MelonTech AI is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once is not a waiver of it.
