Something not working, a booking that came in wrong, a question about your subscription — this is the place. Most of it is answered below; anything that is not, write to us and a person will read it. We aim to reply within two working days.

Common questions

How do I get the app?

Imprint Travel runs in any browser at imprint-travel.com — that version is live, and your account is the same account everywhere.

The iPhone app is in a TestFlight beta. Ask for an invitation at imprint-travel.com/pre-release-invite and Apple sends it to the address you give — use the one your Apple ID uses, or the invitation cannot be redeemed. It arrives from App Store Connect rather than from us, so check spam if you do not see it. The Android app is still in internal testing.

How do I get a booking into the app?

Forward the confirmation email to trips@imprint-travel.com, or upload the PDF or a photograph of it from the app. It is read automatically and filed onto the right trip on the right day — flights, hotels, hire cars, rail, ferries, cruises, restaurant tables and event tickets.

Forward it from an address your account has confirmed. Your sign-in address works from the start; add others in Settings and confirm each one by the link we send it. Mail from an address we cannot match to an account is discarded without being read — that is what stops a stranger’s bookings landing in your account, and it is why a forward from an unconfirmed address appears to do nothing.

A forwarded booking did not appear, or came in wrong

Open Imports in the app. Every forward and upload is listed there with what was made of it, and anything that failed can be retried from that screen.

The reading is done by a machine and it is sometimes wrong. Dates, times, airports, room types and confirmation numbers are extracted from the document, so check an imported booking against the original before you rely on it — the airline or hotel’s own confirmation is always the authority. Anything imported can be edited, moved to another trip, or deleted.

A stay that arrived without a trip sits under Not on a trip on the Trips screen, where you can file it onto one, start a trip around it, or clear it away.

The gate, terminal or arrival time is wrong

Flight information comes from aviation data providers and is frequently provisional. Gates change minutes before boarding and airlines do not always publish it in time.

Never rely on Imprint Travel alone to catch a flight, make a connection or find a gate. The airline’s own board, app and staff are the authority. Our connection ratings are a rule of thumb rather than a promise that a connection is achievable. Live position tracking and landing alerts are part of Imprint Pro; the schedule, gate and status on a saved flight are free.

I am not getting notifications

Check that notifications are allowed for Imprint Travel in your phone’s own settings — iOS and Android both silence an app whose permission was declined once, and nothing in our app can override that.

Beyond that, alerts are best effort: they depend on a provider telling us, on your device being reachable, and on the operating system delivering them, and any of the three can fail quietly. We deliberately do not interrupt you while you already have the app open. A notification you did not receive is not evidence that nothing happened — open the flight to see its current state.

Billing, cancelling and refunds

Imprint Pro is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, and adds live flight tracking and landing alerts, unlimited imports and forwarding addresses, unlimited trips and collaborators, and 30 GB of storage. A 100 GB storage add-on is $2.99 a month or $23.99 a year. The free plan keeps the Passport, Explore, chats, manual entry and access to any trip somebody shares with you, permanently.

Cancel where you bought it. A subscription bought on an iPhone is cancelled in your Apple account, one bought on Android in your Google account, and one bought on the web from Settings in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends.

Refunds for a purchase made through Apple or Google are theirs to issue under their own rules and we cannot do it for you. For a purchase made on the web, write to us below.

I am out of storage, or something will not upload

Going over a storage limit never deletes anything. You keep every byte already uploaded and simply cannot add more until you free some space or add capacity. An allowance already sold to you is never reduced.

Individual files have their own ceilings — 5 MB for a photograph in a post, 10 MB for a trip document, 50 MB for an album file or a message. The full table is on the picture standards page.

I cannot sign in

Sign in with the same method you signed up with. Google, Microsoft and an email address with a password all create separate accounts even when the address is the same one, so signing in with Google to an account made with a password will look like an empty account rather than an error.

If you are locked out entirely, use the form on this page. It needs no account — that is exactly why it is here. Tell us the address on the account and how you signed up.

Delete my account, or get a copy of my data

You can do it yourself, in the app. Passport → Settings → Account → Delete account. It removes your account and the trips, notes, posts and pictures attached to it straight away — there is no undo and no grace period. Delete your account has the steps and the full list of what goes.

The web app cannot do it yet, so on a laptop — or if you are locked out — use the form on this page and choose Delete my account, or a data request, writing from the address on the account. Same for a copy of your data, or for removing one thing rather than everything. We action it within 30 days.

Two things deletion cannot reach, worth knowing before you ask: a post you published may already have been saved or cached by someone else, and messages you sent stay visible to the people you sent them to. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there too — no app can cancel a store subscription for you. The Privacy Policy sets out the rest of your rights, including export and objection.

Report a post, a comment or a person

Every post, snapshot, question, answer and comment carries a report control in its own menu. Reports go to a queue a person works through, and the author is never told who reported them.

For anything urgent — a picture of you posted without your consent, a threat, anything involving a child — use the form and choose Report content or a user. You do not have to hold the copyright in a picture of yourself to ask for it to come down. The standards themselves are at Pictures & content.
